Question for those outside of the United States with universal health care. Are visits for general wellness, cancer screening, minor surgery such as cataract surgery and such get handled with relatively short term appointment lead times--say 30 days? It appears the United States is fast approaching universal health care and have heard stories about very long wait times.

Man I hope not. Rosen will actually stop cutting up and answer a serious question and rationally on occasion. Such breakthrough to reality moments are not noticed by the others. Sure he has to work a little bit on his humor but look what bad associations he has. That can bring anyone down. That he truely dislikes Trump is evident and that will never likely change. We have private here. 140euros a month which covers both of us.
I had to see an eye specialist 6 months back - this was following day.
If i want to see a doc tomorrow, I can make a call and walk straight in.

UK my parents can't get an appointment - it's 6 weeks.
My mother phoned the 111 service a fortnight ago, all lines were busy. The automated voice said email.
She's 83 and struggles to reply to mine and cannot send.
My 'ol chap hasn't a mobile - he won't have one.
My uncle has got big water issues - feet and legs like a balloon. Kept talking to docs on the phone - they prescribe pills. Finally... he managed to get a face to face appointment - obviously Doc was horrified....
One of the talking heads said the other day that the UK is about 50% what it was for face to face - and that will continue as it's "right".

A Spanish doc said the general medical (not private) in the villages will be phased out and replaced with screens.

Easy to figure out that comes to around $160USD per month. But not knowing the economy/cost of living where your at, how does that impact the average worker where your at? Favorable or unfavorable affordability?

Everyone on this board falls into two camps: 1) vaccines make sense because statistically speaking you are less likely to develop the illness, less likely to be hospitalized if you do, and less llikely to die, if you have been vaccinated. Second camp (2) is it's all a hoax and don't bother. The disease will just MAGICALLY go away sometime soon and getting vaccinated will magnetize you, infect you with libtard nanoparticles, harm you health, make you go crazy and die.

Do a back ground check of your doctors, check to see if they have good malpractice insurance and have them take a breathalyzer test so they don't operate drunk. I would also do a back ground check to see if there have been any lawsuits against them and most importantly a valid license. You should request a drug test incase they are high when operation. Last I would also request a birth certificate just to make sure they are who they claim to be.

What do you think happens to doctors who perform surgery high or drunk, or without a license, or under a false identity, or without malpractice insurance? There are repercussions, right? Is that "against freedom"?

Since the title of this thread is about covid survivors.
Here are a few.
1"AS" a member of this forum told me in a phone call that he had it and for 2 weeks woke up each day feeling like someone had beat him with a stick. Asked if he would have rather taken the vax. His answer was NO.
#2 married couple, friends. He got it first at work and gave it to his wife. This was in December and both say they still have not gained their old energy level back. His sense of smell has mostly come back. Both later got vaccinated. She has since gotten pregnant. Co worker in the office died from covid.
#3 The friend that I mentioned earlier that was in the hospital. Learned he got out so that sounded good. But he had to go back as he started coughing up blood. This is the young man that was a physical therapist. I earlier thought he was a masseuse. Wife and both kids got it. Right now I am not sure he will be a survivor or not. I have not heard if their views on vaccines has changed. I know it was not a political thing with him, just did not believe in any vaccines.

My experience has been inline with the data. I don't know anyone who's had covid and not recovered fully, even my buddy who was convinced he had long covid.

I can see sense in both 'camps' views. Its not as black and white or extreme as you make out.
