    What did you guys use for sealing collets for the Mini? The tool is so short it doesn't seal the grooves in the collet. Sealing ring?

    I have cut thee edges off with a bandsaw before, used those pieces for other projects. Next order will be 50 so not looking forward to that! Had not thought about the casting. My quantity is probably to small. I'll give them a call. How does A356 compare to 6061?

    The blank would be 16" wide 17 high and 4.75 on the narrow end. Part is symmetrical.

    First off not really that familiar with waterjet. I machine a bunch of trapezoidal parts out of 5" thick 6061. Trying to figure out if it makes sense to have the blanks waterjet cut to rough size allowing me to nest the parts.Talked to a couple of local guys but they seemed to want a pretty high...

    I'm a legacy user also. Something to keep an eye out for is sales made me a deal last year on Machining Extensions because they stripped some stuff out of F360 for extensions and I gave them a hard time over it. Anyways, my renewal just came up and now the Extensions are a much higher price...

    It says it need 220v 3 phase. Antone running on 240? My shop is all 240.

    Just got the Haas unit. What are the springs for? Thought they might go around the tools but they are kind of small.

    The Haas machine only shows tools down to 3/8. I assume it will be fine with the smaller tools? Could be because Haas doesn't sell tool holders smaller than 3/8"?
