I know this was months ago, but I'm just seeing this now... If you wire edm a slit across the entire swivel into the broken nub you can back it out with a screw driver. i've seen it done before. FYI, I wound up getting it out with a tiny left hand drill in a miluakee drill motor with light... -

See picture, the threads broke off inside. No access to wire EDM. Please send any other ideas you may have to extract threads from swivel. Thanks! -

I saw that one about a week ago, its a BEAST! Three feet tall and god only knows how heavy, looks like its in pretty nice shape too. That's got to be the biggest square I've ever seen in that style, and for the price ($200), I would jump on it if I lived within a 3 hour drive. I cant even...- Bill Good

I actually did just what you're suggesting. I told him that since the 558 came in six different sizes that I would need for him to take a picture of it next a ruler to it so I could see how long it was. :) Unfortunately PM admin removed him and deleted our conversation before he had a chance...- Bill Good

FYI, last night I had a scammer try and sell me an imaginary 558 for $430. Seemed legit until the pictures he sent were of a 558 that recently sold on eBay! This coupled with his low post count threw up a red flag. I reported them and they are now removed from PM. Buyer beware!- Bill Good
