I have tried looking for the rebuild kit on E-Bay, Nothing for the 11", I was considering a 13 " kit . Any idea what would work the Heavy 10, or the 13" kit?
Thanks
Hello,
Just picked up a South Bend 11" x 5' ,from a local municipality, machine seems to be in great shape, with original scraping still on the ways.
But I'm having trouble getting any info on it, Hoping you all can help .
Plate on the gear cover says 11" x 5 foot, catalog number 11111 serial...

Not sure on the fitment, supposed to have come off a step pulley ,
But it does not match up to mine, I think I would rather fabricate new brackets than drill and tap the case.
Any idea about draw bar sizing?
Thanks
The way I did mine was to disassemble down to the main large parts. build a skid for the cellar stairs , fasten for example the knee to a appliance cart. lay the cart with the knee attached down on the ramp, facing up and hoist it up. Worked great for me, Moved it out of 1 basement and into mine.
I just purchased a Bridgeport Rapid 8 power drawbar for my step pulley, Great price (I thought) ,But unfortunately it does not fit my bolt pattern atop the belt drive casing, Was this made to be drilled and tapped ? I hate to disassemble the drive pulleys to get bolts underneath. Any suggestions...
