Mori MS-850 Center height?
Just checked my MS 850 manual. The distance from spindle center to the top of the saddle is not given as a spec. The distance from center to top of way is 215mm. Mori MS-850. Not as silky smooth as a 10EE?
Been using my MS 850 for 8 years now. I have not experienced that problem. Cleaned and re-adjusted the saddle gibs 2-3 years ago and experienced no change, although I went way tighter. Good suggestion, especially the lemonade part! Not being an electrical engineer (wish I was!), I'd just like the motor shop to pronounce the thing dead or alive. More power, or especially less speed, or even 3ph 240V would be fine with me. And there is always eBay . . . for a new motor... -
