Not sure if you have found a shop for this job yet, but I would suggest reaching out to Duval Grinding in Chicopee, MA. That should be something they can handle
It sounds like you know the machine, but at least on my Okamoto you have to push in the feed control knob and then turn to adjust. Just turning without pushing in does nothing.
My Kellenberger has a similar adjustment on the tailstock. Place an indicator and turn the dial to figure out which direction it sends it. It is useful when you have a very small taper
