ficus is stupid easy and well supported by Keith Davis. I haven't run into anything it wouldn't program, and the programs are edit free for our Sodick -

Just bought my first Wire EDM
give Kieth Davis a call at 770 560 7996 and have him demo Opticam for you.Way cheaper that Esprit, and easy to use. You'llbe spittng out ready to run programs in a day or two!- greggv

Wire EDM & milling software
for your wire, Opticam is un-beatable! I think it started out as Metal cam, now it's opticam or Ficus. Outputs programs for our Sodick VL600Q that do not need editing, just run them! -

You should be able to get Vertex products in Sweden. They're very good kit. Prices are fair. The 10" rotary table is an exact copy of a yuasa. -

Do I actually need CAM for a VF4SS+TRT210?
I have the same equipment as you! Idraw up my 4 axis parts in Solidworks and program them in OneCNC, which does a really great job, and is easy to use? You basically "unwrap" the part to flat and program it as such after telling OneCNC that is your intent. The simulation runs in 3d, really nice... -
