Bob, Yes. It is a 6x12, and I am using a VFD. Thus, I can vary the spindle speed if necessary, but am currently running at the factory speed. Thanks! Jeff- jwweathers

I was traversing 1/2 the wheel width, so the WOC was about 1/4”, actually. I will reduce that and the DOC and see what happens. Thanks! Jeff- jwweathers

Marcus, Thanks for the response. I dressed the wheel. It is a Norton 32A, 7” OD, 1/2” thick, 46 grit, Grade H. Wheel and hub are tight. Spindle bearings are new and sound great. I can’t measure any appreciable runout in the spindle taper or hub. No wheel weights. I did NOT balance the wheel. No...- jwweathers
