I started out in a local machine shop, spent a few years there, went to work with a co on campus at PSU in their wood dept. I ended up in charge of all the cnc machinery including a 5 axis router. Taught a few classes on the side as well. The co I was working for closed my program and I ended up blowing my retirement savings on a building and cnc router among other things. Working on building up the business and staying afloat. Calling the business Up Front. Doing mostly cnc router work of wood and plastics and also manual metal machining with fab thrown in. Looking to get some sort of product line going to offset the job shop type work.
