I would slide it on if I could. The motor shop had to use a wheel puller to remove it . The motor is shot .Putting the pulley on the new motor shaft. Same size shaft (28mm). The pulley Diameter is about a (.001) smaller than the shaft size. The motor shop measured the shaft and pulley size for me. And, no I did not buy the new motor from them. There is a three week wait for them to do any work for you.
I had to get the motor overseas because it is a European motor
