I saw the post about the shop in Ticonderoga auction; I worked there for many years. Coincidentally I also lived in Saratoga while going to school at RPI in the early eighties. I lived over on Bowman Street near the Flat Track. My son Zak still lives in Saratoga.
I managed to get a few things shipped to me out here in AZ before the auction. Still, it's always a shame when shops can't keep up with the times. I really miss that place, I sort of grew up there since 1974.
