Never found anything, I am probably just going to finish up the last of the work and put it up for sale as a project. I got a better setup, one I had been trying to find for quite some time.
Just putting it out there, I have a project in mind and I am going to need a dovetail straight edge something around the 12-18". Scraped or rough casting will work but I would prefer a rough casting to cut down some cost. All my edges are to big to do the job properly. Not in a super rush, just...
Doozer I sent you a reply,
I am actually thinking of selling the machine and all the tooling with it, I just don't seem to use it and I can use the room. I spent all the time rebuilding it, scraping ways, regrinding table, etc so I am hoping it can go somewhere other than scrap. I will post it...
I am working on my Hyster S30, late 70s vintage. I rebuilt the mast cylinders and installed them, I just noticed there are no bleeder screws. No where on the cylinder or rod is there a way to remove the air from the cylinder. The manual says there is a bleed screw but neither cylinder has them...
Yeah I know, I hate to be part of the problem I am just hoping to get the knowlege out there so some new to the trade individual doesn't start to compare their work to a CMM machine and the parallel tolerances.
Sorry for the late response dealing with school then traveling for the holidays eats up time quick. The reason I think/thought it needed adderssed is because there is a lot of new people getting into fabrication as there is so much "content" and so many content creators out there giving out...
I may catch flak for this, but I think this needs to be addressed. This guy, Jason, is a good dude and a pretty good welder from what little I know. However, he missed the mark on this video by quite a lot. From what I gather here, he is trying to sell more of his fixture tables and using this...
Helping out a friend's shop, long story short absolutely brilliant CNC guy had a stroke and brother is handling the liquidation to pay medical bills. I am helping to move this last piece of equipment.
It is a 1980 Helmel Engineering Checkmaster CMM model 138-525. The base is a Standridge plate...
Unless you want to learn all about what the different cutters are, what is new, what is re-sharpened, what is used, then take the gamble that someone wants the old tooling. Only to spend all kinds of time storing, sorting, and shipping. Take it to the scrap yard and be done with it. Send it to...
Here is a lot of drawer dividers, they came out of a few Kennedy-Bott boxes that I reorganized a ways back. The mounts have the male studs. I am asking $75.00 plus $35.00 shipping. I don't want to break them up and sell a few pieces at a time, I tried it before and it just takes way too much...
