Update. My customer compensated us the costs of materials without a disagreement. We have a greater understanding of what we expect from each other and better business relationship. Not too many companies willing to do that.- HIT-N-RUN

*Yes to your first question. 2nd party have been passing these through QC all this time to end user (3rd party). *They ordered new lot. Then 3rd party later identify that the parts didn’t meet print at that time. *Need to review contract if one exists. I've been managing our machine shop...- HIT-N-RUN

If they buy me a new Tig machine, I'll rock it, but still, there's no weld process call out on drawing. So I'm still left to guess what they really need. I know, but I'm not going to give up that info.- HIT-N-RUN

There is NO welding procedure/process call out on the drawing. The original engineer is deceased. Nobody determined the procedure was up to the required standard, they have no clue how to weld this part. They just want to see a fillet all the way around the joint, which the weld symbol for that...- HIT-N-RUN

Definitely walking away from this particular job. I'm just trying to I would like to try and resolve without threating with lawyers. I just need them to cover the cost of raw materials. They only lost a sale. They have other vendors who also supply this same part.- HIT-N-RUN

Yes pull tested 100% of new batch before sending out for plating. I also suggested to them I could do ultra sonic x ray as extra measure.- HIT-N-RUN
