    I just picked up an Okuma ES-L6ii lathe with a chip conveyor but I don't currently have the room in my shop to use the conveyor. So I intend on removing the conveyor but how do I let the controlled know that it has been removed? I am assuming it will give some alarm if it's not plugged in...

    For cutting threads for studs and such would be easily done with a geometric die head which you could use on the TFB but you will have to have individual chasers for each size you want to thread - but no big deal.     It would probably be worth the asking price but I would question why you can't inspect it prior to purchase. Not sure what your application will be in using the lathe or if it matters to you or not but the TFB-H does not built in threading capabilities. This the name TFB (turn/face/bore)

    I picked up the follower and it is a perfect fit on my SAG12. The steady rest will fit even though it is not an original. I passed on the steady so it is still up for sell. The only thing that is not completely correct is the rear foot which stands on the rear way only contacts...
