    Not 100% sure on MTconnect but you can set up Email notifications under the "Mail" function in the menu page using button on the top right.

    I’m now going through and upgrading some of my harbor freight tools. Even though they have served me well. I’d hate for a customer to see them or much worse one of them break. I guess Ill keep them for backups in my service van.

    They are actually relocating me so I can be in the direct center of our customer base for the region. I can maximize my chances of being home every night. Pay is awesome, benefits are good. If worst comes to worst I can settle down in 5 years and have a good chunk saved.

    Wow happened to come across this thread again after googling for CNC repair tools. Well a little bit of an update. I got a good bit of experience working at my (then) job. But I got a job offer to become a field service engineer for a big name machine tool builder. Very excited.

    I ended up getting them out and got it bolted back into the machine. That's a Different spindle.. that's bevel washer springs as well. Not coil springs.

    i think your taking my words out of context. in the morning our machine has moved a little on the Z axis.. and yes it will show how much it has moved. all we do is return the machine to zero then set our reference point off of machine zero. its just a habit. and why not do it? haha

    we do a zero return to "machine zero" every morning because when the machine is off. the axis's tend to drift a little (especially Z axis)

    i ended up slowing down the tool change speed and it fixed it. i was only having problems when the machine was cold. and it would alarm out once and then fine the rest of the day.

    well only thing i could come up with is that in the mornings being cold. its throwing the alarm because its harder to turn the turret., i ended up slowing down the turret turn speed like you said and havent looked back, no alarms at all! thank you
