2 New Haas Machines and ???
Ive been using Trim MicroSol 585XT in my mills, I have not been getting great sump life. I was using Qualichem but they discontinued the formula I was using so we switched to Trim. Our lathes have been running Trim SOL for 9 years. But it seems like they changed the Formula in the last couple... -

More new Haas issues.....
I would be very hesitant on buying another one from what i have been seeing. I have a older VF3 The rest of these were all bought new in the last 9 years. 2017 VF2 No complaints 2020 VF2 Way cover issues as mentioned above 2019 VF4 Way cover issues as mentioned above 2019 VF9 only complaint... -

More new Haas issues.....
Our ST15 kept dropping the activation codes when powered off, WIth the new update about half of our programs need to be altered or completely re programed for them to work. -

Haas barfeeder problems, Wrong initial push.
that was the part that was in the spindle, we parted it off after the crash, Im wondering if we are getting a slight hangup on the jaws when the bar pushes the new bar in, I hand fed a bar into the spindle about 30 times and could not get it to hang up, but you never know. Frustrating when... -

A 2020 Haas ST15Y with sub spindle and a 2020 bar feeder, Two times now in the last month in the middle of a run the bar feeder has pushed a new bar way too far. the one today pushed about 1.25 farther than it was suppose to, which resulted in a crash. all the bars are cut at 48" long (+0 -.1)... -

Doosan VMC vs Haas VMC
Definitely, Just started looking at doosan over Haas. I have a VF9 that we bought through spindle air blast for and it still doesnt work, its been 18 months, and our ST15 we just bought has paint peeling on the inside. I feel like they have really cheapened in the last couple years.- jm0502

Im talking about 2019 and 2020 machines. Its something they just started doing. there most recent update eliminated the ability to run the spindle at all with the door open. Also with the pendant you can only use the click jog and not the variable speed rapid with the door open.- jm0502

Qualichem 251c staining way covers?
Ive had this same problem for 11 months. I was told its something im doing. Haas finally acknowledged its the material being used for the cover and just suggested using scotch bright on it.between that and a brand new St15 having the paint peeling off on the inside I think im done with Haas. I... -

I have a 2019 vf9 with through tool air blast, It has never really worked since day one, The local HFO has tried everything they can to fix it but no success, their hands are tied with Haas now. Does anyone here have it on a 50 taper and does it work? the union wont seal up after a tool change...
