    SB9 Knurling Recommendation

    Dan, For what it's worth, Guy Lautard "Machinist Bedside Reader" series(Book 1 or 2, I forget which) has plans for a clamp type knurler that should be fine for that size lathe. Also Hemingway Kits in the UK sells two clamp style knurler kits that should work also. Cheers, Malcolm

    Hi Sean, I forgot to give you the dimensions of the belt. OD is 40 inches, OD width is 21/32nds and thickness OD to ID is 3/8 inch. Malcolm

    v belt size

    Hi Sean, Just changed the same belt on my under drive 9A. 'The original v-belt was a Gates Truflex 3400. It was also stamped SBLW-CE5L400. My order link http://kscdirect.com. The P/N was GAT 5l400. It's about $ 7.09. Other folks on this board may have better/less costly info. Hope that helps...
