ID this Motor!
I'm running on a static phase converter. It is Taiwan. Bport is noisy enough with belts at top pulleys and out of back gear. Probably should not run in high? Bill- bczygan

ID this Motor!
Please help me identify this motor. I was told it was a 2HP. It's on a J-Head Series 1 And I don't understand the 2 switches. What is the upper one for? And how do you work it with the back gear on the head? Bill- bczygan

Tapping ACME Threads - 3/4-6
Thank You! It is an inch nd a half through hole in the hub of a 5" CI handwheel. I see there is a range of diameters for the drilled hole. I can get a bit that is right in the middle of the range. Is that good practice? Bill -

Head has been flipped for better operator access. The box on the side of the motor has two switches, one for high and low and one for on and off and on. Does that mean it is the two speed 2HP? (They did make one and the seller said it was 2HP, but the motor plate is unreadable. And I've heard...- bczygan

Just got a 79' J Head - What now?
Here it is in all it's $850 glory. Running when I picked it up yesterday. Has a cheap China vise and I have the oiler. I obviously need collets and mills and setup stuff. And I need power. What's the best converter? I can't read the info on the motor. Seller says 2HP.- bczygan
