Here are a couple pictures. It's a 4-hole pattern though, not 1.25" bores - closer to .425". Oh the dial caliper is Lot #28 in the auction! :D
Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Chuck,
It has scratches and worn paint but when running it doesn't make any out of the ordinary noise. I just took a couple more pictures of it. let me know if this helps...
Thanks,
Bob
All the items have been cataloged and uplaoded to the website:
Veloce
I'm not exactly sure why my last "My Auction" thread was closed. Am I doing something wrong here Milacron?
Thanks,
Bob
Hello Harold,
I have this Tool Grinder coming up at my online auction as well as several other cutter grinders. I realize you're looking for parts but this is in good working condition. The auction is December 6th and 7th - here is a link:
Online Auction of Veloce Engineering LLC
The full...
I agree, that might be slightly misleading, but don't let that stop you from viewing what's available next week. You'll see shelves full of pin gauges and gauge blocks, Mahr (Federal) bore gauge kits, Hermann Schmidt vises and magnetic sine plates, Gershner tool boxes, boxes of indicators...
Hi Mebfab,
I do realize that but I need to move all this equipment in order to get my Haas CNC Mill. Then you'll be seeing more questions than you want to see from asking about and sharing my experiences programming and running the CNC. I can stop posting about the auction if it's against...
They are 45 minute drive from me but they go all over the country. I don't think they would consider too many things "small fry". if they do, I think they can combine your items with a larger auction...
They are just finishing setting everything up. The pictures you see are only a fraction of the entire auction. I'm selling a bunch of Hermann Schmidt and Harig items that arre pristine! You'll be quite suprised as to what will be available! They separated everything into lot boxes -...
As promised, here is the link for the auction of my surplus equipment:
Online Auction of Veloce Engineering LLC
The full description of each lot should be ready some time next week. In the mean time please feel free to call or email with any questions.
Thanks for your interest.
Bob...
It believe it is the original paint. The first picture I posted in this thread shows some wear around the spindle casing and it appears to have a reddish colored primer under it - not sure though. I don't have a better picture. Here is one of it when the riggers moved it and all the machines...
Milacron,
The Kewpie Doll is German too - never knew that! :)
Ross,
I would be keeping it more for the "coolness" than anything thing else. It will not make any more money for me than the Bridgeport that came along in my machine shop purchase. The Bridgeport will at least be able to provide...
I contacted a rep from DMG /MORI SEIKI USA and they confirmed with Germany this machine serial number is 1953 vintage - not sure if I want to get rid of this one now...
I'm using the Branford Group in CT for an on-line auction of surplus machines, measuring equipment and misc. accessories from a tool and die shop. Has any used or purchased from them? It will be a two-day auction with the first day of bidding being an inspection day. I'll post details once...
I'm still uncertain if auction is the best method for selling my equipment but I think it'll be the quickest. There is just so much and it would take me months to move it all through here, eBay or Craigslist.
Absolutely. Once all items are cataloged I will post information. The auction is tentatively scheduled for November 27th. There are too many other machines, accessories and measuring instruments to list here.
Thanks for your interest.
