    wow Im being lazy? I do something ive done for 20 years..... plug in the feilds on my cam package and it kicks out the wrong info...and its my fault! unbelievable.... I went into the DMG and altered the feed to .025 and the threads look nice... I just never had an issue like this before...

    DMG DMU 50, loading a tool into the spindle by hand

    i actually found the proceedure in one of the books I have. I wasnt pushing the PRE-SELECT button prior to turning the "release tool" button. now I think im stuck on the fact i probably have to UNLOAD a tool and LOAD my named LASER KLUM tool.... wish me luck

    Ive got to requalify all the aspects of the machine, and i want to start with calibrating the laser. I have the "tool standard" to use and i see in the program saved in the machine it has a tool call for TOOL 0. I have all 16 tool slots in the carousel full... so it seems I need to call tool...

    buddy gave me this, he doesnt know what it was for. It has a decimal number on one side and a single digit number and a "P" on the other side. Like 6 P, or 5P or 10P. on one it says 1" cir. P. as an example the 1" P has a .687 stamped near the gap. The 12P has a .180 stamped. the 7P has .308...

    spark plug repair insert THREAD DIA ?

    well there is some info on the tap..it was hard to read....Sav-a-Thread....so apparently this tap is a 17x1.25 mm. as it turns out 1.25mm pitch basically is the same as a 20 TPI. thanks to all those who replied.

    ok so I just measured the tap and I was wrong about the OD..it is .675 not .687.. the pitch is 20TPI....and my plug doesn't fit...too tight....ill just re thread it tomorrow... as for the repair tap.... there is no info on it, so I don't know the brand.
