No not relaly speed and accuracy and precision on a clapped out Japanese machine and hav you ever had to pay for parts for a clapped out Japanese machine? If you can get them they are very expensive. Haas vf broke ots while calibrating
Macro should always send spindle up a and table to position for tool probe. Then it looks for the skip signal. If your macro is missing a critical piece of code that would get expensive quickly -

Degree vs. Knowledge
Personally I think they are worth less unless the company needs higher skilled programmers. Because not only is the company paying for education but it makes the educated apt to leave the job and be a cowboy/cowgirl.- Speedie

I just heard this in a meeting that why should a used dealer rig it, bring it back, hook it up only to find out its a POS...thats what the first inspection from a potential buyer finds out....all the flaws. And if your selling they will inundate you...but havent you heard...they have a buyer for...- Speedie

Nice that they admitted that the matetial relieving itself was an issue. I wonder what Haas had to do. You know there are no perfect mfgs. They learn eventually or die. -

Rent a software is a pretty brutal concept I agree. If a company going to pay maintenance then maybe there should be no big up front fee for the software. Mcam could learn a bunch from fusion 360s payment process. I mean the support is not stellar from mcam. It is good but you may have some lead... -

1 guy has 5 years of mastercam so he is the master of everything. The other guy is on 2.5 acres of rural. One guy joined here in 2018, one guy in 2019. They both sound just under 30 years old. -
