Rambold turret lathe info, users, anybody?

Do you still have this turret lathe ? I recently got one just like it and is eager to find out just how the collet lever mechanism is working. Mine seems to be missing something that goes from the lever to the collets. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures/belt/VFD Here is a couple of quick pictures of the belt and the VFD. I´ll see if I can get a few "process-pictures" taken and post in case anyone wants to try their hand at making their own leather belt.

    Got a SB 9

I will take a couple of pictures tomorrow and post to show how I made it. As for the VFD I got hold of an ABB 220 volt inverter. It is all rigged up a tad un-professional right now but I´ll be happy to show it. (tomorrow that is as it it´s quite late this side of the pond)

Belt how-to Well,I´ll try my best. To get things straight.. I am an electrician by profession so VFD´s are not really that much of an issue for me. Get one, hook it up and run it.:D As for the leather belt.. One of my hobbies , besides this SB, is knifemaking. One of the most important things...

    Got a SB 9

I do have the back gear. I just took it out for cleaning ;-) If it would be possible to find the lever for belt tension (original) I´d put the motor where it belongs in a heartbeat. The big pulley could also be hard to find but I would give it a try. So far I havent tried putting more tension on...

    Got a SB 9

Table is a bit over 60 cm deep so I think there may be space enough to put the motor where is was intended to be. 60 cm is about 24"

    Got a SB 9

Will do. I am not yet that knowing on a SB9 but I have a feeling it isn´t supposed to have the motor under the table. The length of the drive belt creates unwanted vibrations in the machine. Serial number is 237324NAR9
