    Accuracy AR

.25 moa group is very possible but not likely. You put up 10k on a 3 round group or something and you're bound to get fucked

Turning larger thread with smaller insert?

If it clears it shouldn't be an issue.

    Why do people dislike BobCad

When I first started working where I am now, it was all they had. It's fine but very unstable when things get more complicated. And as far as using it for cad it's super buggy. Random stuff just stops working after awhile. I still use it for really simple stuff beacuse it is fairly quick for...

    1018 replacement for fittings?

I can get them to work and it is cnc. the issue is just it's pretty whiney about stuff and I'll come back sometimes to them starting to get ugly. Machine is running pretty much by just by itself all day and I'm trying to minimize baby sitting

    1018 replacement for fittings?

Making a bunch of external threaded fittings. Trying to get threads to stay pretty has been obnoxious. It really doesn't matter what these things are made of as long as it's welds fine.

I'm trying to grab on some wrench flats I was cutting and i can't get more than a few parts with out it drifting so far to a different spot it kills the part trying to push over the corners. No idea what's going on and I've played with it for too long

Grabbing cut wrench flats with sub spindle

Beacuse that's what the part was drawn like. The angle really doesn't matter i guess

Grabbing cut wrench flats with sub spindle

I'm dumb just stopping the synch and clamping with everything turning free fixed the issue

Grabbing cut wrench flats with sub spindle

I have a part where I'm cutting in a hex for wrench flats with live tooling. I want to grab the wrench flats in the sub spindle with flat faced jaws and cut the other side. I made it so I should have been able to sync things up with flats ar 33.33 degrees but when I hand off while using...

Best way to watch for the bar running out?

I don't cut the bars a lot of the time and trying to get where I feel safe having someone else load bars

Best way to watch for the bar running out?

I've been looping a sub program. Getting my m30 counter back would be a nicer way to do it.

Best way to watch for the bar running out?

Where it's going to kill stuff is when it's grabbing air or barely anything while I'm parting off with the finished part in the sub spindle.

    Mastercam deburing off an stl
