Spade Drill - Radial Arm Drill Press?

Thank you all for the help. I’m using an Arboga radial arm drill press with an 8” column and 36” arm. Compared to most of the radial arm drill presses I see it’s on the smaller side. I will try first with a centre drill and then go direct with the 27/32”. I’ll let you know how it works out...

Davis#4 Keyseater - bushings?

I recently picked up a Davis 4 key seater. I made about 45 keyways on the first job and it worked alright but was a bit noisy. Found slop in the connecting rod pin. I figured the bushing were worn and I would take it apart and make new ones. Got it all apart today and it seems like there are not...

How to Mount a Masking Plate/Super Spacer

I figured out what was wrong, my master plate was home made, there weren't any holes for the masking plate to line up with. I ordered in a replacement maskignplate and it all works well now. Thanks for the help. Jim
