Matsuura MC-510VF/Yasnac i80 stuck in single block, no alarms

Format looks fine apart from program name, since we drip every program, it is almost always % O1001 (T01... ... Not sure that it really matters and if it did, how that would cause it to go into a single block mode. You may want to double check the data input configuration for the drip feed...

    Matsuura mc-600vf shut itself down.

I have an i80 controller on a 90's Kitamura, I can't remember the exact alarm number but when a thermal fuse is tripped it throws a similar error code and refuses to power up the hydraulic pump. If you have thermal fuses in the cabinet try pushing them back in to see if one has tripped.

    Okuma mill MC-4VA osp5000 RS232 problem

My Okuma has the OSP5020m controller, but I imagine the syntax for calling programs and how programs should start is pretty similar. I don't normally call the program name in the code itself, if I want to call it from the computer via RS232, I use the auto key, program select, then call the .MIN...

    Okuma mill MC-4VA osp5000 RS232 problem

Can we see the first few lines of the program? My Okuma requires a few things like a "%" at the start or else it throws a 232 error.

'93 Kitamura MyCenter 1 w/ Yasnac i80m controller tool change issue

I have a few videos of the parameters that I took before going on vacation. I don't think they included anything in AUX2, macro.common, or offset. I'm also not sure how well they'll translate to your machine but I can post them soon and post a link here if you want to watch them and see if they...

'93 Kitamura MyCenter 1 w/ Yasnac i80m controller tool change issue

An update So I gave all the proximity sensors, as well as the tool changer assembly, a good cleaning and messed with the position of the proximity switches on the pot lock mechanism slightly. Bringing a pot down to change tools does still cause the "TA14" to flash in the AUX2 channel, but it no...

'93 Kitamura MyCenter 1 w/ Yasnac i80m controller tool change issue

Everything is sending the proper "OK" signal for the tool change to occur, I think, don't have any reference parameters. The controller sees that the pot comes down, knows it is in the down position, the pot is still locked in position. Even moving the pot around quite a bit doesn't change any...

'93 Kitamura MyCenter 1 w/ Yasnac i80m controller tool change issue

The pins that lock into the top of the pot are fully extended, as far as I can tell, and the pot is rotatable around the rollers that hold it up, but it can't be outright removed without pulling the air pressure. Although the clamping pins do retract slightly and then go back to the locked...

'93 Kitamura MyCenter 1 w/ Yasnac i80m controller tool change issue

I've been using this 1993(ish) MyCenter 1 for a while now, good machine and a real work horse, when it isn't having tool changing problems. It has come to a head and now it will rarely attempt a tool change. It will bring the pot down and orient the spindle but it won't do more than that. The...
