    That Clausing-Colchester works as I want the stop to work . But disengage the half nut may be a problem ? Hardinge and Schablin 125 dont disengage the half nut when stopped Would apron mounted lead screw reverse do what you desire? Im not sure what this means ? Thanks for answers

    Hi I wonder which lathes can cut threads against a hard stop . Or is it called knock out stop ? Harding HLV and Schaublin 125 got this future . It may be possible on Boley 5LZ too ? Is there other lathes that have this future you can recomend? Thanks Johan

    Agree the C5 collets is sheaper than Schaublin w collets . Spare part from hardinge USA is very expensive and with import tax But the same from Swiss with schaublin There are Hardinge parts on ebay.uk but also import tax Much easier to find schaublin stuff here in Europe
