    Brown & Sharpe #2 horizontal mill

    The cam is wore down creating to much lash which makes it bind up when trying to change speeds, also the tooth to the left of the cam portions are getting sharp due to the binding up.

    Is there any new gears available for these old mills or do they have to be custom made or repaired,? The gear pictured is for the arbor speed control mechanism. Part 2331 speed control cam #2.

    I believe I have a number 2 and in need of an arbor support. I believe the overarms are 3 1/2" diameter and 5 1/2" apart. My machine serial # is 6171. Any leads would be helpful

    Canedy otto radial drill

    Just an update, put shaft assy in an arbor press and collar came right off, so the next person will know that collar is not threaded and that shaft uses 2 Timken taper roller bearing # 08125 and a couple pics for exploded view. Thank you for the reply Tom, got my wheels turning again.

    That is very possible, but would like to confirm that collar is not threaded so I don't do more damage pressing it off.
