Not willing to change

In the operation manager, go into the plane selection view, click the arrow to the right of the little gear (settings), and uncheck "Display plane info relative to WCS". -

I chamfer everything beforehand. For Ingersoll tools we use a local distributor. It should be pretty simple for someone who is at least moderately resourceful like yourself to track down an Ingersoll rep who will probably be more than willing to let you demo some tooling.- dodgin

We use and love the Ingersoll Rapid Thread family of tooling. If I get what you're saying is that you don't want to drop $200 every time you need to mill a thread, something along those lines will come in handy. We've got a few Kurt 5x vises. The dovetail in the jaws is .125 high, so when we dovetail material we cut the dovetail at .120 high.
