Adjusting cross slide nut.??
I removed the nut and cleaned the screw. What is the propper adjusting process? The nut bolt doesn't tighten all the way and how far should the pin be screwed in?- zgoo

Modifying Monarchs problematic oiling system.
Once bought a lathe and they filled the head stock with ATF and it sat for a month before I got it and drain the ATF. When I pulled the heatstock cover, everything that was sitting in the atf was as clean and new looking.- zgoo

10EE thirteen shades of OIL
Heavier oil will contain more heat, so if a headstock is getting warm drop down on the oil weight.- zgoo
