B axis alignment and loose part

Ok i have adjusted grid shift before i think. I adjusted the BS13 parameter when my Y axis was a little bit off. I would guess it is the same page in the machine parameters for the B axis but still BS13?

B axis alignment and loose part

I got an Integrex 400Y (2001) with fusion 640MT. Discovered that the B axis is off by about 0.16 degrees. I have read about people adjusting it both mechanically and in the controller but not how. (read a description somewhere but it must have been for a newer controller since mine only ha 1 MF...

HSMworks better code for C axis machining

Hi yes that's what it's doing. i am sure it is a circle. Don't know if it makes a difference but in solidworks it is a profile swept around a center line and not an extruded circle. It is rotating the C axis. The circle is to big for it to use the Y axis.

HSMworks better code for C axis machining

Got a really simple cycle where i am running an endmill in a circle with lead in and out. Instead of a stationary X axis with only C moving, it instead posts about 3 lines of code per degree, with sligt variations in the X axis (2 microns back and forth). i have tried smoothing and adjusting the...

    integrex X axis brake

Got an integrex 400Y from 2001 with a not so good brake for the X axis. When i press the e-stop the X axis sinks slowly, anywhere from 5 to 40mm. Anyone knows if it just needs some cleaning, tensioning or parts repaced?

ATC not in starting position (Integrex 400Y)

Hi. I was running a program and wanted to pause it for a quick check and i stopped it during the arm swing but now it wont play along anymore. I have removed the tools and i can move all the tool change components through the "ATC menu" and "ATC maintenance" buttons but i cant get it back to...

    Integrex leaking like a sieve

Thanks for the tip! going to try that. Seems that Philabuster was correct. The ballnuts on the machine requires air for some reason. Anyone has a guess as of why? Could it be to increase the flow of oil to the ballnut or some other reason?

    Integrex leaking like a sieve

A 5.5 kW air compressor not enough for that machine? somehow i do not believe that.... It is definitely to loud to be considered normal. When i stand in the machine it is about as loud as a regular blow off gun at more then half power. strongly doubt the ballscrews or rails need any air at all...

    Integrex leaking like a sieve

I just got an integrex 400Y from 2001 with a big problem. It's leaking air like crazy. My 5.5kW (7.5HP) air compressor gets properly toasty in far less then an hour when the machine is running. So far i have located it to the bottom half of the Z axis carriage. Unless my ears are fooling me it...
