Foreigner needs advice about IMTS and Chicago

There is fewer buildings that can handle the weight, power, space, and air demands of the equipment, in a central location, in a city that has the ability to handle that volume of tourism.

Foreigner needs advice about IMTS and Chicago

Could stay in Milwaukee and take the train down in the morning. Milwaukee is a great place to be!!! Stay downtown and just walk to the train station. A ton of people take trips up from Chicago to Milwaukee because it is cheaper and equally fun. It is an hour train ride and 25$(I think) I've...

OT (but quite pertinent, I think) -- A New Idea Regarding Gun Control

I am ok with that too, as in the hunting and for sport. Don't underestimate making things inaccessible, A 4 hour drive and a wait in line to get bullets is rather good at curbing some peoples ambitions. If you are deer hunting and putting more than 1 bullet in an animal, then maybe they are...

OT (but quite pertinent, I think) -- A New Idea Regarding Gun Control

Can't we just tax the crap out of ammo? I don't think the bill of rights mentions a "right" to ammo, in my opinion. It becomes rather useless if it's too expensive to shoot. Use the funds for mental health programs, and the like. But yet that might be to sensible... The supply chain of bullets...

    Seattle area manufacturing?

I won't disagree with that.... The whole "business owner" mind never goes away. You can always network or make a few dollars during the day, and go out at night. This would be a more common travel like maybe once a month.

    Seattle area manufacturing?

Welding wouldn't be bad either, started tig welding when I was 12, I could even throw my engine drive welding skid in the truck. I'm just looking to help someone out, make a few bucks maybe, and do something while I have time during the day, Instead of being a tourist or sitting around.

    Seattle area manufacturing?

I have never been to the west. Its a story, but I might spend some time in that area, and will have to self entertain during the day. I own a job shop in Milwaukee. So I'm hoping someone can educate me on what manufacturing is like in that area. How does it compare to Milwaukee?

    OT: Portable fuel caddies

Yes, then I can put it in trucks, just convenient. And trying to find it at the pump in the city isn’t the easiest. My tanks are just white cubes. Dot stamps, no stickers, no markings.

    OT: Portable fuel caddies

One nozzle goes in the truck, then you put your card in the other side of the pump, since it only lets you buy $100 and that nozzle fills the aux tank. Then drive ahead to the next pump and repeat. (Paying $2.99 diesel in Milwaukee) It’s bolted to the truck and the electric pumps are grounded...
