    I have an early Rivett 608 lathe, serial #132 (mfg. 1921) with a 4NS headstock. I am trying to disassemble the cross slide and compound slide. Unlike my South Bend 9A, instead of set screws to hold the gibs, it has fillister head screws, after removing them I still cannot get the gibs out...
