Blast from the past - Brexit

Afraid it is not the English anthem even though you would like it to be and to be honest I would be really happy for you to have it. England, like the other nations in the union doesn't have an official anthem although at sporting events such as the commonwealth games Jerusalem seems to be the...

Blast from the past - Brexit

But GStQ is your anthem because it is the anthem of the United Kingdoms of Great Britain and Northern Ireland which is not a country ;)

Blast from the past - Brexit

Not really as your location says Spain but I wonder if that is where you are actually from. I kind of thought maybe God Save the Queen may have been your National Anthem but that was why I was curious.

Blast from the past - Brexit

From my understanding the regulations will not be location specific ;)

Blast from the past - Brexit

I would say the big driving force for the instigators may be the financial regulations which will be coming in, they will make it very hard to have offshore, Cayman Island style, accounts ;)

Hyundai Kia SKT 200 Turret alignment

Have you got the correct thickness insert? DNMG inserts come in two thicknesses (4mm and 6mm) and your pic looks like you may have a thin insert in when it should be the thicker one.

    Orphaned controls, best to retro.

Just fitted one (SZGH CNC100TDC) to my lathe, works well and support was good although usually delayed by 24hrs due to time zone differences.

    touch screen cnc control

I do not exclusively use the touch screen. I use a keyboard for entering values in DROs/ MDI/Editing code etc. I have a trackball on the keyboard that I occasionally use. I have physical buttons on my panel which I use for the normal functions and I use the touch screen mainly for selecting MDI...

    touch screen cnc control

It takes a bit more than a light touch, especially on the resistive screens as you need to flex the upper membrane so that it touches the lower membrane, a fairly stiff push or more usually a sharp tap is required. Hood

    touch screen cnc control

Scratches do not affect the resistive screens other than maybe obscuring vision if it is exceptionally bad, one of my resistive screens has a big score across it and it is not an issue. The capacitive screens have a glass front and they would be pretty hard to scratch. Hood

    touch screen cnc control

Just the same as accidental button push I would say. Hood

    touch screen cnc control

I have used touch screens on my retrofitted machines for years with no issues. There are several different technologies for touch screens, resistive and capacitive are the ones I use and neither are affected by water. I did at one time have a SAW technology one from ELO and water could activate...

BobCad V26 Lathe how to change the Wizards default values

I have just noticed that you said the following (my highlighting) That is likely your main problem. You are using G94 (feed per minute) when normally for a lathe you would use G95 ( Feed Per Rev). Thus, if you used G95 in your example your G1 move would be a 1.5mm/rev rather than per minute...

BobCad V26 Lathe how to change the Wizards default values

The feedrate is modal so the preceding G1 move with the feedrate will also be used for the G32. If however you wanted a rapid move instead of the G1 then you could try altering line 92 in your PP to the following. 92. G32 line move. n,rapid_move,thread_g33_xmove,thread_g33_zmove Doing that...
