I used some swivel leveling feet from MC Master and some long grade 5 bolts from Fastenal. I think I had about $40-50 for the set of three. It high enough to move around with the pallet jack or forklift. Works great!

I am surprised it is still around as well. Hell of a lathe for 3500 like I said before. I rather put part of the money into the 1000ee though instead of keeping this one. And all my other projects haha

Yeah the only reason I bought this one was because it looked like it was very easy to convert. The only thing I have bought for it was a new ram. Haven't gotten around to ordering new end brackets but it looks like it'll bolt right up to the old ball screws and mounting holes.

I have a true trace I’m converting to a manual machine. I don’t need any of the parts. Just wondering if the parts are worth keeping around really.

I have a true trace off a 1969 Bridgeport. Does anyone even use these anymore or am I better off just throwing most of the parts away? Maybe someone here needs something off it? If I end up throwing it away I’d probably just keep the parts that attach to the hand wheels and the hydraulic...

I tried switch the motor wires and the tacho wires but that did not seem to fix it. The blue wire #4 in the bottom left terminal blocks seems like it should be hooked to something but it is not. It was hooked to the 5 wire power cord that it was originally wired to but the blue wire did not go...

Alright I will give that a try. It would also seem that the transformer for the DC drive has been replaced with a 460v to 380v only transformer so I would probably need a new transformer for 220v. Seems promising though if I can get this DC drive to work. Looks like it'll be pretty easy to get...
