Get yourself a ZEUS book or equivalent. It is very handy for quick referencing. My program would look something like this... G76 P020060 Q150 R50 G76 X14.16 Z-13.0 P920 Q250 F1.5. As others have said, if you have a normal open form 60 degree tool then you might have to go deeper on your offsets...- NAST555

Iscar DO-GRIP Inserts
Not that I know of. The grip inserts are pretty good for turning as well using the full radius 3030 insert in your case. Looking for part-off tool recommendations
Another vote for the TAG from Iscar. Seats well and has not failed me much... except for operator errors on the 4 sided 35mm wide blade. I use the 3mm for most of my parting.- NAST555

As I know it on a Mits ,R1 at the end of the G84 line means feed/rev. And from what I remember ,R1. means programmed feed.- NAST555

Are you running the same program till the end (A M2 or M30 at the end) and then it cycles back to the top of the program and you run the same program again? If so you need to be careful on how your parameters are...- NAST555

Multi Start Worm on a CNC Lathe
What others have said and I will add... Make sure that your clearance angle on your tool clears the helix. On that lead it might be worth it to draw it out and see if your tool will clear when cutting.- NAST555

Ok wait, I just saw your tolerances. I agree with the other folks, either dial it in after every change or run a dedicated finisher. Maybe a thinner rougher and then the finisher.- NAST555

I use GRIP style inserts often. The torque that the insert is held makes a big difference on height of the insert. Maybe that is an issue? Have a look in your Iscar catalogue, it does give guidelines for this.- NAST555
