Parting out an FP4-60; a fun day getting grimy

Deckel FP3–should I buy from Germany?
"Überholt" means only one thing to me that it is a full rebuild like Singer does. "Teiluberholt" means a respray to me.But I might be wrong. I do not know the firm but Stefan Gotteswinter bought his Deckel there. I stay away from Kai-Tec.- Kees

Deckel FP3a CNC2101 stop on 00 error code
I do have the manuals but in German only....But let me know if you are still interested. Could you check something for me? The manual states that rapids is 1500mm / minute but my machine goes only 750mm/min. I still have 10 volts on the drive. Could you measure on your machine what the maximum...- Kees

Deckel FP3a CNC2101 stop on 00 error code
I would be impressed if you could repair this controller.. Do expect all kinds of problems, including broken Eproms ( with the software gone then) I do have several prints for this machine as I repaired one ( replaced the controller with a PLC) but I don't have the Eproms...- Kees

Schaublin 125-CNC retrofit:
The result of the castings looks very good to me. Now this is just a plate but now you can also make a new steady for your 125 where casting is almost a need. To bad of the crash. On my CNC I do have a potmeter knob for both feed and rapids , when running a new program or tool I start with...- Kees

I sometimes see these tumbnails which I can magnify but not always. For example the last 2 post from you guys is text only. ( for me)- Kees

I can see the thumbnails but if I click on the lathe, no picture.No mention of "you do not have permission" . Others do work. In here: Taylor-Hobson Talyvel 4 I do see some of the pictures Bruce posted but not in his last post.- Kees
