Need help with 10EE lubrication
Yeah, sorry, by detergent I just meant a cleaning agent. I’ve used kerosene in the past to flush the apron on my larger south bend but wanted to check what was recommended for the 10EE. Just wondering… Did anyone find a source for 1 gallon jugs of Mobil DTE Light? Also, is it recommended to flush the headstock and other oil reservoirs with some kind of detergent when doing an oil change? Thanks. Barry- barryw

Prototrak SMX rapids default question
Thanks, I did find the .ini file that stored the default stepover% but I did not find anything obvious regarding speeds. I will reach out to SW Industries but I am not holding my breath. They did not respond to another request that I sent to them.- barryw

It does seem like a very high quality press especially for its age. It is cleaning up nicely and has the same Morse taper as my lathe tailstock so that is good luck in terms or being able to interchange chucks etc. Yes, that is who I got the info I have from.
