Can a maho or deckel milling machine, with a universal (axis tilt, swivel, and rotate) table, dial any axis errors out
due to wear aging?

Hi All,
I'm just getting back with BobCad, and I've been working with a
part OK, simulation and all, but now I can't get it to post or simulate.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help,

Dave,
Yes you can.
I remember an article about an old guy (a pro) re-scraping a large jig borer
with just a 24" prism master. Richard King talked about that article in one
of his posts.

Hello all,
Are you getting cabin fever yet?
Would it be possible to use NMTB40 tooling on a FP4NC
by replacing the hydraulic pull stud sustem with a NMTB
draw bar, or is there not enough from at the top for
the NMTB draw bar neck?
If there is not enough room at the top could I cut off

Hi all,
I have been looking at a FP4NC and I was wondering if the control

Hi All,
I am looking for a Deckel fp2,3,4NC, working or not working with
a universal table. I would prefer a 'flip-head', but would consider
an earlier version.
I don't want to have to import one from Europe.

I don't get the "new post" when I'm logged into PM and I go to the WANTED thread.
So how do I tell people I am looking for a working/non working deckel fp2,3,4,NC, with
the universal table?

I don't think compression is much of an issue.
Take the amount of square inches, then divide that into the total
supported weight, and I would be surprised if there was any compression.
I would expect the loading per square inch to be very low.

Hi Bruce,
Your 50mm boring bar was made for a special purpose, something like putting a
finish form on the edge of a bore (champfer, radius, etc.), in one operation.
If it was meant to to be a rougher and finisher, the holes would be closer together, to
make it more of a general purpose tool...
