Hello. I finally moved my devlieg inside after several months.
On inspection the drawback has a striped thread or snapped off as I believe it had been converted to metric to use bt tooling.
Has anyone done one and is it a complete expensive pita.
I’m not adverse to just having a manual drawbar...
Hello I purchased a devlieg 2b36 a couple of weeks back and it was
Delivered to my yard. The drivers rigging was slightly dodgy.
I need to lift it to move it to its new home.
As Im going to use a builder with a big crane to move it I wondered if anyone here would have a picture of one correctly...

Hello Ive been offered a axelson 16. Being in England its rare though I imagine there may have been more left 50 years ago.
What are they like? The only lathe I have of a similar vintage(early forties) is a monarch 16x108 cw.

On Sunday I dragged my girls to a museum that I have been passing for a couple of years but being work hours unable to pop in and visit.
Very poor pictures as one would expect from a phone camera thats been subjected to grinding dust. It was nice to see a lot of exhibits were made in Essex...
