As above, the video is VHS and the scraper with carbide is new, and never used. Looks like shipping will be $25-30 by FedEx ground; the scraper is too long for a USPS large FR box. Open to cheaper shipping methods if there are any.

Hardinge sells them for around $50, plus shipping but it sounds like you want something cheaper. Shars has imports for <$10 new that are supposed to be <= 0.0006" TIR at 1" out from the face.
As you probably know CO2 lasers of less than 200 watt power will not engrave metal, but can mark it with spray on products. If you want to engrave, then you probably want a fiber laser. Keep in mind that there are thousands of folks with sub-$10k lasers trying to make side hustle money, so...

FWIW, the manufacturer rated the CBX DRO accuracy at +/- 0.002" over 12" and that was exactly the error I measured with the old one I had on a Clausing 8520 mill. Not too good for a commercial shop but probably adequate for hobby work, especially as the error seemed to linear with distance...
