    drilling delrin without packing chips on the drill

    we do a lot of drilling in plastics on our router primarily use a drill bank that spins at 8000 rpm we routinely drill at 75-125 IPM and peck around 1X D its hard to wrap your head around how fast you can go to town on plastic when your brain is geared around metal.

    back about 20 yrs ago Haas was putting around 200 spindles into the land o' cheese here and about double that down in the mfg powerhouse being the Chicagoland area. wouldn't be suprised in the US if it was 5-7.5k spindles pure guess there. at that time all the focus was on the growth...
