Was that a weighted pontoon on the Starboard side? I bet they have a good ballast control system onboard!

I think there is an "outrigger" strut secured to the middle of the gondola and bearing on the dock. That would make a "ton" of sense. Look closely at the first(low resolution) image. I think it is the strut located just forward of the cabin.
