Next time you come across something you really want ask the guy if his listing is O.B.O. (or best offer) Then offer him $600 on the condition he doesn't sell it in the amount of time it takes you to load up and drive there.Whoever got there a few seconds before me you're my nemesis
Be clear on when you will be there and have an understanding that if you are 1 min late there will be other vultures there waiting. At that point he "should" be telling people that someone is on the way to pick it up, if he flakes then I will call you back.

Not been outside ,Id think,rather the effects of condensation and possibly roosting pigeons .......the net exaggerates reds and makes rust look a lot worse than it is

Id be over it if I were you too. Thing is not nice and needs a full restore. Drive is a direct drive motor with 1 speed. I'll give it a restoration and new drive.I cursed you for 2 days

If you can manage to get him on the phone, Tim at TASiron, near Cincinnati, has 10EE drives that he removes as part of his VFD conversions. He also has a nice VFD drive solution.

Can't say I am a fan of Tim. I have some experience in VFD lathe drives so am all set when I get around to it.
I figured it would need fully gone through. Still a good buy. Where are you located if you don't mind me asking? I'm probably North of you in Amherst TWP.
