3 phase machine polarity check

I'm installing a brother tc-31a myself and just want to check that besides spindle and pump motors direction, 3 phase polarity is otherwise arbitrary for the machine operation. It won't smoke a control board if I hook it for clockwise phase and it wants CCW? Just kill power, swap two if motors are backwards, and get to work?

its all the same, polarity only matters with pumps, that's why most installation instructions just ask you to check a specific pump rotation on the coolant pumps.
mine i check the chiller if it runs or not. if not, switch 2 and its fine.

Perfect, thanks for the confirmation! I've got a rotation checker and will set it up for clockwise (right turning?) from the panel and ensure the pumps are spinning properly at the machine.

Rotation direction is totally arbitrary and has to be checked every time.

Your device says if it is right or left turning
Right is CW Left is CCW

Reference also matters. CCW from one side of a motor is cw looking from the other side.

I wired it up, the pumps ran backwards, I swapped two wires. Thanks for the support! My first self install job, there's a lot to consider.
