40's heavy 10 help

I just bought a used heavy 10 south bend and I need some help with finding parts, manuals/drawings, and help with how to restore. I know from the serial number it's pre 1947 but that's all I know. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome. The suggestions you have received are right on. You might want to search for the many threads on here with descriptions of the refurbishments and rebuilds that different people have done. Many pictures, tips and ideas. Hours of reading that will help you - at least they helped me immensely when I went through my 1945 heavy ten.
