8" Manual Lathe Chuck Suggestions

I have an Okuma LS lathe with a D1-6 Spindle nose. The chuck that's on it is beat to hell and back so I was wondering what you guys may have for suggestions. I don't use the machine that often, it's just in my garage at home, so I don't want to spend a ton of money on a chuck. Thanks.

I'd be looking for a used Buck with 2pc jaws, maybe a Bison.

you might call Worldwide chuck services. They sell and service chucks. You can probably trade it for a decent chuck that's been refurbished.

3 jaw universal? Whatever you get make sure it has the adjust-true feature.

could not agree more, not adjustable 3 jaw chucks are only suitable for welding positioners in my opinion. Yeah I know people use them, I am saying don't. lol
