9B thread gear configuration

Does anyone have a picture of the proper gear configuration for threading 28 tpi on a south bend 9B? I just got the lathe with a set of change gears. When i set up according to the chart on the door the 16 stud gear is offset from the 80 idler gear. The 80 lines up correctly with the 56 screw gear.

Catalog 50 A from 1940 has no 28 TPI for the "B"- just the 27

And 2 years later they have the 9B having the 28 on page 5 here

You just need to reposition the "collars" related to the two gears that ARE NOT in the same "plane" as the stud gear

Here are the two conditions of "position"and this moving to and fro is controlled by where the "collars" are placed in relation to gears themselves
