on my sodick ag600l the LP2WH that comes on it i’m lead to believe has the ability to be used as a computer and that when sodick come to work on the machine their engineers use some form of password to turn the computer in to the computer as apposed to the screen displaying all the machining, i know that might sound confusing but if anyone has any ideas or to ask questions please feel free

The AG600L machines, I run 2 of them, with the LN2W control run on an embedded windows 95 I believe.
It is also a pretty low power computer.
I don't know of any code to let you get out of the Control Software and get into Windows, I wouldn't recommend doing that even if I knew the code.
If you somehow mess up the windows installation, the computer drive itself has to be replaced thru Sodick.
We had a computer and drive fail, and I think it was $6,000 for the replacement.

i know it’s not something your supposed to do, it’s like a specific combination of buttons pressed that sodick try to keep to themselves for obvious reason but the head of the engineering team at my work asked me to find out if it was possible as he’s wanting to see if he can tinker with anything in it as theirs a few things he isn’t happy about

they don’t give you you it it’s something their engineers don’t want you to have for obvious reasons. i think if it comes to it he’ll call an old friend of his that used to work there see if he wants to share

Haha "Tinker" with....

What is he not happy with ??
he’s unhappy because he believes that the flushing when the tanks down should be working when it’s not and he’s had me try everything to sort it so he just wants to double check what’s there see if theirs anything to alter…. it’s definitely a long shot but he’s the boss

I imagine this is related to your other thread, and I really don't think you'll find anything outside the control software. I STRONGLY recommend you do not attempt to mess with things in Windows.

it is related yes i’ve passed the concern on to the the head engineer who seems to still be tempted to do it so we shall see what he does but as of now i don’t think he has a way in to it

1) Sodick are known for protecting thier software. I seriously doubt you can edit the software to achieve anything.
2) speak too the apps department as they may be able to help you change a setting in the parameters or hidden pages instead.
3) to flush with the doors/tank lower, could you remove a proximity switch and fix it closed? Surely the machine is just looking for a signal to say the tank is up in order to progress the program?
