Aciera F3 - later model for sale in UK

Hi all, I know of a nice F3 with the later squared head with horizontal arm and full tilting table available for sale privately in the South of England.

I was interested myself as I found this machine but sadly however I am not in a position to conclude the deal due to a change in personal circumstances so wanted to potentially introduce a new buyer to the vendor.

The machine looks very tidy, think its original paint, it's had a 240v VFD conversion but the old 3ph motor is in a box albeit in parts should someone want to consider converting it back.

The vendor needs the machine moved ASAP as the house it's located at is his fathers house and the property has been sold and the machine is no longer required.

I know the asking price is very very good so if anyone is interested I'm happy to introduce a genuine buyer without any commission.

You do seem like a real member, but those stories and that zoomed in picture..couldn't sound more like a scam to me.

The OP has been a PM member for some years, and has a long thread about fixing up a Schaublin 135, so I suspect that this is legit.

I just feel like it has all the tell tale signs of a scam, but it could still be legit of course.

They were going to buy it but backed out and now want to help someone else get it, those people sold their property and need it gone asap, it is a "very very good" price. A bad picture of a screen that has been cropped down, so that a google image search won't find the real result(*if it is a scam) I'm just saying it sure looks and sounds iffy to me.
