Alternative to Vactra No. 1 (ISO 32) ?

I am rebuilding a Powermatic 87 (20" wood/metal bandsaw) at work and need to change out the gearbox lubrication. It uses Vactra #1 which is ISO 32 viscosity. Unfortunately I need less than 1 gallon of the stuff and Vactra only comes in 5 gallon pails. Any recommendations on a substitute I can get in smaller quantities? McMaster has some 10wt oils, but most stuff looks to me unavailable or 5 week leadtime.

We have a local lubricant supplier that has iso 32 oil on hand in 2.5 gallon jugs for considerably less than mobile.

I use this:

AC-0 (Air Compressor Oil) | Lubriplate Lubricants Co.

It does come in 1 gallon size.

Go to your local NAPA auto store. Pick up AW32 hydraulic oil or R & O oil by the quart. Same thing, but much, much cheaper.

Its not the same thing as Vactra though...

McMaster-Carr might be able to source it for you - they sell Vactra 1 in a 1-gal jug and have been really good about custom orders in the past.
